Brasão Brazilian Steakhouse (“Brasão,” “we,” “us”) operates restaurants in San Antonio (The Rim), Plano (Legacy East) and Irving (Las Colinas), Texas, and the website brasaousa.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

• Reservations. When you book a table, you share your name, phone number, email, party size, date and any special requests or occasions. Online reservations are handled by OpenTable.
• Private events and inquiries. When you fill out a form or contact us by email or phone, we receive the details you choose to send, such as your name, contact information, event date, guest count and preferences.
• Email and offers. If you sign up for news or promotions, we collect your email address and any preferences you share.
• Gift cards. Online gift cards are sold through our gift card provider, Card Foundry, which collects the purchase and recipient details it needs to complete your order.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data. Like most websites, we automatically receive information such as your browser and device type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, links clicked and the site that referred you.

• Business transfers, if Brasão is involved in a merger, sale or similar transaction.

OpenTable, Card Foundry and other third-party services have their own privacy policies, which apply to the information you give them. Links to other websites, such as Google Maps or social media, are governed by those sites’ policies.

06How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to provide service, keep business records and meet legal or accounting requirements. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as opting out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email info@brasaousa.com. We may need to verify your identity before we respond, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

You can stop marketing emails at any time with the “unsubscribe” link in any email, or by contacting us.

09Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. You must be 21 or older to purchase alcoholic beverages.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
