Happy Hour in San Antonio: Brasão's Bar Happy Hour at The Rim

Looking for happy hour in San Antonio? Brasão Brazilian Steakhouse at The Rim pours happy hour at the bar Tuesday through Thursday from 11 AM to 2 PM and 4:30 to 7 PM, and all day on Sunday and Monday, with $8 drinks and $15 appetizers. It is served in the bar area only, so you can stop in for a cocktail and a bite, or stay on for the full rodízio. Here is what to expect.

When is happy hour at Brasão San Antonio?

Our happy hour runs on two schedules. Tuesday through Thursday, it is served from 11 AM to 2 PM and again from 4:30 to 7 PM, which makes it an easy fit for an after-work drink or a midday break. On Sunday and Monday, happy hour lasts all day while the restaurant is open. Hours at The Rim are 11 AM to 2 PM and 5 to 9:30 PM on Monday, and 12 to 8 PM on Sunday, so check the San Antonio location page for the current schedule before you head over. Pricing applies in the bar area only, and it may vary on select holidays.

What is on the happy hour menu?

The bar menu is built around Brazil and the classic steakhouse bar. Items marked as happy hour on the happy hour menu are available at special pricing, and the list spans six categories: white wines, red wines, classic cocktails, signature cocktails, infusion cocktails and beers.

The caipirinha is the natural place to start. Brazil's national cocktail is made with cachaça, sugar and lime, and ours comes in lime, strawberry, pineapple, tropical and wild berries. If you prefer something else, the classic list includes an Old Fashioned, a Moscow Mule, a Mojito and a French 75, while the infusion cocktails use house-infused spirits, such as pineapple-serrano cachaça. The wine list at the bar includes Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, and the beer list pairs well with everything that comes off the grill.

Hungry? Happy hour appetizers are $15, so you can build a round of bar bites to share while you decide whether to stay for dinner. Please tell your server about any dietary restrictions.

Weekly specials that go well with happy hour

Happy hour is only one part of the week at a Brazilian steakhouse that treats the bar seriously. Our weekly specials add more reasons to come back:

  • Tasting Tuesday: international tasting pours of infusions, wine, whiskey, tequila and scotch, starting at $10.

  • Wine Down Wednesday: 20% off any bottle from the wine list, all night.

  • Caipirinha Thursday: $8 caipirinhas all day.

  • Ladies Night: $5 selected cocktails from 7 PM to close on Thursday, with reverse happy hour until 9:30 PM, in the bar area only.

Specials may vary by location and on holidays, so it is worth a quick look at the specials page before you plan your night. If you are building a week around the bar, Tuesday and Thursday are the easiest to stack: come for the afternoon happy hour, and return in the evening for a bottle discount or a tasting flight.

Make it a steakhouse night at The Rim

Happy hour is a great way to start, and you can turn it into dinner. Brasão is a Brazilian steakhouse in the churrascaria tradition: gaucho chefs carve 17 USDA Prime cuts tableside over open charcoal, including our signature picanha, filet mignon and ribeye. The rodízio also includes a gourmet salad bar with more than 50 items and hot Brazilian sides, all for one price. See the full menu and the current pricing, then flip your card to green when you are ready for the skewers to start.

The gauchos bring each cut to your table and carve it at your command, so every slice arrives at the right temperature and the doneness you like. It is the kind of steakhouse evening that works for a date night, a team dinner or a celebration with friends.

We are on the Northwest Side at 19210 IH-10 West in San Antonio, right off I-10 near La Cantera and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, with ample self-parking in front of the restaurant. Guests rate us 4.9 stars on Google across more than 10,400 reviews.
